WordPress is our favorite CMS period.  We’ve built (seemingly) countless websites using WordPress.  But almost always we see the challenge business owners face when it comes to managing WordPress relating to their website.  With back-ups, testing, updating, and security there’s a lot of planning, time, and cost that can go into managing your website efficiently.

Which begs the question.  Is WordPress too expensive for your business?  So often we underestimate the value of properly managing our website and CMS.  Don’t get caught underestimating what your business needs to properly manage your website.

This is so true Cody, great recap.

Only after a client had a recent hack on their WP site, was it crystal clear to both the client and myself how important it is to keep everything updated.

When comparing to Shopify vs Bigcommerce, although those two might have fees of ~$100 for the client/month, it’s still cheaper monthly than continuous WP upgrades, especially for ecommerce.
